Speed contoller- with timer!
 

I am designing a electric free-flight glider for my aerospace engineering degree and am looking for some advice on the electrical design!

I need to make a speed controller which will turn a 300 brushed motor with a 4cell NiCad pack!! But I need the controller to be timed to start and stop the motor, so that it runs for 2 seconds and then stops and can then be run for another 2 seconds.

If any one has any ideas or useful websites it will be much appreciated! Just need somewhere to start from!!

Check with the CL crowd. They use a timer like device.
