OK ladies and gents Im trying to get a good list of good reliable online retailers for electrics. Specifcially I would like stuff for EDF. I am getting more and more into electrics now becuase I simply cannot afford a turbine or ducted fan so EDF is the next best thing.
I have a few links that most you already have sen but here we go anyway. http://www.styrojet.com http://www.parkflyers.com/ http://www.comeparkfly.com/ http://www.kamdax.com/catalogue.html http://www.eam.net/ Im into airliners, military jets, realism is key. Still looking for a foamie BAE-146 or similar online. Please share your fav links for electric ducted fans! matt :stupid: |

Here are some more Matt -
www.wemotec.com www.electricjetfactory.com www.rd-jets.de www.aircraft-world.com www.schuebeler-jets.de www.jepe.org Jepe, Schuebeler, and RD are all very very high performance EDF suppliers. Top of the "food chain" so to speak. The wemotec stuff is a good place to start, with the Minifan 480 being a good choice. Here is a pic of an F-16 I am working on now. It is my own design/scratch built for the MiniFan 480 and brushless motor. I may be committing an RC Universe sin here, but check out www.ezonemag.com ,discussion, jets. It is by far the most active EDF info source on the net. You can find pretty much anything jet related you can think of. Tim H. |

The only one I have found that is a kit manufacturer of airliners is: www.edfmodel.com A New Zealand company that is not in production as yet. There are a number of airliners built with electric ducted fans but nearly all are scratch built.
