new to electric
Hello guys! I have a USA super Cub 12 foot wingspan weight 22 lbs less motor and batteries. flies slow and easyto control. I have been flying gas for years but want to switch to electric . Can anynoe give any help to motor size and controler.Brand of motor that is the most reliable. I'm 77 y/o but still a kid. Thanks for ay suggestions.[8D]

If you want a really good motor the Actro 60-140 would have been my choice, no doubt: http://www.actro.de/de/inhalt/actro-60.htm The best ESC for this is propably Jeti adv 90.
The Actro motors are in the upper class, runs cool and you should be able to swing a 28-30" propeller with ease. Battery: 2x FP EVO25 5S5000 in serie. As tigerdude say: expensive. But nice gadgets. Soon 50 myself, but have never thought of not being a kid ;) Flown for 31 years, and it still is a good hobby. |
