Help with Hacker speed control

I am running a Hacker B-40 LMR with a Hacker 70 amp speed controll. Static amps on bench are approximately 62 amps.

My problem is that after a climb out of approximately 20 to 25 seconds, the next time I try to turn the motor on, the motor will buzz and the prop will rotate about 2 revolutions and stop. If I turn it on and off 3 or 4 times, it might come back on. I do have the speed control settings on the Hacker recommendations.

Any help will be appreciated!

Herb

Perhaps its overheating, even though you aren't getting close to the current rating. Just a thought.

my thought would also be overheating the ESC,.. however, I run a B40-L LMR on 10 zapped cells, with the 70 amp opto ESC,.. and a 13X13 carbon folder,.. which draws 84 amps. No problems with overheating in mine, even in a smart with no cooling provisions. I only have to run the motor 8 to 10 seconds though, as it's almost out of sight at that point :)

where did you purchase the motor and ESC? I'd contact them and tell them what's happening.

Thanks for the replys. I found out that when it doesn't want to start the second time, if I unplug the speed control and plug it back in, it works! I got the speed control from Aero Model. Any more help will be appreciated!
