e-flite j-3 cub Spectrum?

Any thoughts on the use of a spectrum Dx6 in the E-flite J-3 cub it is a 62" wingspan. I own a Dx6 but Im not sure about the range for this plane.

My flying buddy flies his Hyperion P51 fiberglass fuselage Mustang with a 6000 receiver. No problems with range.
