Is dual breushless possible?

Is it feasible to connect two brushless motors to one ESC? If they are sensorless motors, wired parallel and you have a 4 cell li po connected to one ESC, would it run two 400 sized brushless motors?

RE: Is dual breushless possible?

I've only used a single ESC with twin brushed motors.
For my brushless twins, I use 2 ESCs, y'd to a single battery

It can and has been done, but it can be difficult to make it work. See page 2 of [link=http://www.castlecreations.com/media/castle_scribe_archives/Castle%20Scribe%20CE-03-Mar2006.pdf]this PDF[/link] from Castle Creations.

[link=http://www.kontronik.com/DSet400480Motse.htm]Kontronik[/link] still shows a product called Twin Drive on their web site. It's a combination of two brushless motors and an ESC. I've seen it for sale on a few web sites, but it is expensive -- much more expensive than just buying two ordinary brushless motors and two normal ESCs.
