Question about Hyperion balancer
 

Hi

I have a Hyperion balancer - in off line mode it discharges cells to achieve balance.

Does it do the same while charging via the balancer - if so that means that the mAh displayed on the charger is not the same as was taken by the pack ?

I have two of the LBA10 balancers attached to a EOS1210i. You can see pics of my charging setup in my gallery.

The LBA 10 balancers work the same offline or online.

When charging a pack the balancer discharges individual cells the entire time to balance the pack. So like you said the mah displayed on your charger is not truely the amount the pack needed. I have no idea how much the discharger actually bleeds off. I can't imagine that it would be very much.
