prop question

i have a rimfire 35-30-1250 and it only gives information on a 10x7 prop
i would like to try something else that will give me more torque
would a gws 11x4.7 fry my motor?

RE: prop question

I would first try putting the new prop and motor on a watt meter. That way you can see the current change and prevent drawing to much for your setup. I believe a Watt meter is a must for electric flying. You can find them online for around 40 to 50 bucks.

RE: prop question

If its safe for a 10x7 then an 11x4.7 will be no issue. Nevertheless, get a wattmeter, its a CHEAP investment that will save your EXPENSIVE investments.
