Bantam BC6-10?
Hi,
Am new to electric and what i know, could be written on the back of a stamp!!! Am looking to power an aircraft (Sebart Angel 30e) and want to know which charger will be good. I've seen the Bantam BC6-10 and the BC6, what would be the difference in charge times for 3s 11.1v 3200 batteries. I have no idea how long batteries take to charge in general, i know on average you get anywhere between 8-12 minutes depending on the power combination, so was thinking of buying up to 3 packs. How long on average does it take to recharge packs like these, and can you buy a cable to attach the charger to a standard 12v lead acid battery to charge 'at the field'? Thanks in advance, Gareth. |
RE: Bantam BC6-10?
If I can make a suggestion, I own the bc6-10 charger and its ok but the one I use most is a GT POWER 6,very good and comes with a temp probe plus lots of extras.I can charge my 3200 mah packs in 55 min, this charger is $65.00 to $72.00 ,I paid 65.00 at FUSIONPACK.COM

RE: Bantam BC6-10?
Gareth,
I've got a couple of these which I'm really pleased with, I also have experience with some of the more expensive ones and if I needed another tomorrow would get another of these http://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk...d.asp?id=21255 It'll take approx 1 Hr to charge them and they come with the leads installed / crocodile clips to connect to a battery at the field. |
RE: Bantam BC6-10?
Thanks guys.
Swapadog, had a look at the charger, i buy most of my gear from sussex model centre, but i missed that charger. It looks perfect, it's half the price of the Bantam, so i might take a run down to the shop and have a look. Much appreciated, Cheers, Gareth. |
RE: Bantam BC6-10?
Gareth,
For some reason missed this reply, did you get one in the end ??? Whereabouts are you if they're not far away, they're only 20 mins away from me. |
