RE: what is this worth?

i posted this because the ebay ad i found it on has a "buy it now" price of $500!!!
may be wishful thinking on the part of the person who listed it.
its just a 2ch right? throttle and steering.
ive seen a pic of the 1st rc controler tesla made in 1898. its wild for me to see what RC componants used to be like. ive only been in the hobby for 4 years. even in that short time things have changed alot.
brushless, lipo and 2.4g were all things i hadnt heard of(not saying they werent around 4 years ago) and they are all common place now.
imagine where the hobby will be in the years to come.
i just had a baby boy. cant wait till he is old enough that i can include him in my hobby!!!:D

ah, the old brown box futaba. Used one during the 80's while 1/8 scale gas car (onroad) racing. Not worth much now because there are so many newer style 2.4 transmitters out there.
