Brushless speed controller question

Just about to get a new plane which uses a brushless motor. I already have a couple of Telebee T-50 esc's from previous models. Problem is the web site says these
are for brushed motors? So does that really mean they won't work on a brushless motor. I only need a 35A ESC and these are both 50A.

RE: Brushless speed controller question

Found the answer! Apparently the answer is NO.

RE: Brushless speed controller question

Not "apparently", DEFINITELY! The technology is completely different as indicated by the names "brushed" and "brushless". In a brushed motor the electricity is commutated by the brushes, in a brushless commutating is done electronically. I'm sure an EE could be more scientific (talking about "phases" and such), but I'm just a sport flier with 20 years experience in e-power.
