Question on Program Card
 

I'm using a Program Card from Turnigy for my Turnigy motors. I don't know what to do on the "Timing Mode" (Low, Middle or High) and the Govenor Mode (Off or On)? Can any one explain this so I can program my ESC's? Many thanks, Ken McCormack

Governor mode is for helicopters.

I can't remember setting any that weren't MID timing though if I try to explain it I'm sure I'll botch it.

I've had to change the timing on several Turnigy motors after setting the Throttle range. The problem I had was the motor would screech.
So, I'd say if you have an issue try changing the timing to see if it helps.

Depends on when its screetching.

If it's doing it with fast throttle changes, some cards have a throttle response setting that will fix that as well.

I've ordered one of these cards to program my Turnigy esc's so this is good information. I'm using mine on a HK500 electric helicopter. Will I be able to program a "soft start" mode, if if so what does it do?
