After recently getting a small pack of "JST ZH" micro connectors with 100mm ext. leads to change over few of my micro servo leads to fit micro receiver in few of my recent model creations I have encountered bit of a problem with the tiny gauge leads coming off the connector plugs at ease.
Despite handling these items with extra care I couldn't believe how badly it must have been assembled at the factory!
After close up inspection it seems like there was no crimping of the wire used during assembly of these miniscule pins inside the plastic plug casing.
When the two wires popped out from the plug there was no visiable exposed insulation removed and the pin part that was suppost to be crimped was still fully open on all 3, Signal, Pos. & Neg. power leads.
After careful removal of the insulation end, touch of hot solder added to each ending of this tiny stranded wire it was easilly pushed inside of the micro size pins and properly secured by micro pliers to make sure it is well secured under 10x magnification goggles, and put back inside the plastc casing plugs.
Just wondering if anyone encountered similar issue with these connectors???

Nightmare of the job, the least I could say!

Yes, these things are small.
I bought some 120 mah 1s's for a bargain. figured I would just make up an adapter. Yea right, planing and working hours later a working adapter (not really). charged and ready at the field house let's just use one of those new batteries. Well the adapter came apart in my hand (doh)
