I recently purchased and aero hawk electric heli. I have adjusted to gyro and tail mixing pot to cooperate with me, but at full throttle, I can not seem to get the heli to lift off of the ground. The heli get's light, but it won't lift. If you guys can help me, it would be much appreciated!!!! thanks

I had a similar problem with the Piccolo. The pinion was badly adjusted (too tight). Readjusting the motor position to loosen up the mesh made all the difference in the world...

I took a look at the main rotor gear, and the motor gear, and they don't look like their tight, any other suggestions?

bad battery packs, motor not broke in, wrong pinion on motor, not reaching 100% throttle travel (adjust your ATV), binding gear mesh
could easily be any of those, check all of them.

thank you for your input however, I'm fairly new with the heli's. What do you mean by the motor not broken in? and how would I test to see if it is a bad battery pack? I don't want to take it apart and test each cell, is there any other way to tell?

what is the voltage on the fully charged pack? use a DMM and find out... as far as motor not broken in, it is probably unlikely that the motor not being broke by itself would cause you not to get off the ground, but it won't help either. (do a search for motor break in here...)

the battery voltage is 8.4 volts after it is charged, but after like a minute of full throttle it starts to act up, and I test the battery and it's down to like 7.3 volts.

I had that problem with my heli, i descovered after a while that the flybar paddles were the wrong way round.
