I said in an earlier post that I would find an indoor facility to fly in near my home. Well, I found one. There is an excellent place to fly in central NJ not far from the Garden State Parkway, less than 20 minuets from Staten Island, and 45 minuets from New York City. I have spoken to the manager and they are open to letting us fly in there one night per week which has not yet been determined. They will require a commitment, and a fee is also necessary, however this is a great opportunity to fly your lightweight indoor models without the hassles of wind and bad weather.
I haven't hashed out all the details yet but I am taking inventory of interested pilots. Please let me know if you might be interested in joining our fledgling group of indoor enthusiast.

This is for NY/NJ pilots only. I know you can't commute from Arkansas or Colorado so please keep those comments to a minimum. I will go there soon to do a demo flight and snap some photos for now here is one of the Hockey rink. There is a Hockey rink and a football field at this place the rink is a hard floor and the artificial turf is low and tight and can be easily flow off of.

I'm in Edison, where are you? I know a few people besides myself who would be interested. Some already go to the blimp hanger regularly. So where is this place? Don't worry, I wont go there until you get things finalised. Thanks, Gary
