Hi, I don't know if you ever figured anything out or not, but here are some ideas.
1. Go to a website that offers free card models. scale them up so the wingspan is 12", and print on 1/32n balsa. Get
the lightest, thinnest you can find. I think there is a site called "Fiddlers Green", but I'm not sure. I'd do a web
search for "Card Models"
2. Search through the forums here, and at R/C Groups. Both are great sites, but they are rather specialized. You'll
find things here that you won't find there, and vice/versa. I know one of these sites had a likn to a Pitts, but I don't
remember where.
Good Liuck

Those are commonly called 'bit' conversions (since they come from bit cars). There are lots of referrences here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84771
DWE (http://www.slowfly.com/index.chtml) has plans for the Micro Moth and the Micro Pitts on their 'support' page.
Many people convert from small FF models. You can scale plans up or down as you see fit. 'No-Cal' models convert well (do a search). Here are some interesting places to get plans:
See Ken Horne's site here: http://www.ualberta.ca/~khorne/
and The Plan Page here: http://www.theplanpage.com/index.htm
and Paul & Ralph Bradley's site here: http://www.parmodels.com/ (<- lots of micro-sized stuff here!)

Go to www.parmodels.com for almost all the old Jigtime and Goldberg rubber band kits. Free downloadable files. You can them scale them to whatever size you want. If you print directly on balsa, you even get all the decorations!
BTW, Paul still needs a copy of the Spitfire Jigtime kit and the Midwest Cardinal kit to complete the set. He would buy or borrow. I have loaned him kits and they come back in perfect condition. He is currently generating the plan to the P-51 from a built model! Not an easy task, I expect.

have been thinking about finding a card model of an f-14, and building some EDF's utilizing the bit-car motors. However the bit-cars are only two channels, and I don't know how it would fly with only two channels.
