Default Flying at Sterling Indoor Sports Arena

This was a total blast. Its such an incredibly different way of flying inside. This sports arena was probably ideal. The soft astro-turf was easy on planes; there was netting around all sides and just below the ceiling. This was an excellent safe setup for both spectators (on a second floor observation deck behind the netting) and the pilots that were not flying (there were tables set up behind netting just behind the pilot boxes.

Any case here are a couple of pictures.

Default RE: Flying at Sterling Indoor Sports Arena

By the way- picture captions include- first picture is for the raffle- which included a Tensor, as well as other really great stuff. Second and third picture shows part of the pits, and the last picture shows the flying area.

Many thanks to Qwang's Hobby Hangar from Chantilly, VA for hosting the indoor fly-in.

Don
