does anyone think you could put a small solar panel on the wattage micro flyer or other small planes, or would it get to heavy?

has anyone tryed it?

dunno about how heavy it will be but i dont think it will have enough power

i dare say some one would have tried it, i know some one pulled off a 24 hour flight with a solar powered 5metre+ glider. dont think its possible for some thing so minuit just yet.

24 hour?
not enough sunlight! (unless stores energy)

also its a glider,, hardly uses any power.
and its 5+ meter thats huge
you can put a huge solar panal on it

hey if you have not already found this out, you can buy unfinished cells. unfinished cells are just not incased in plexy or some other casing. I dont know where to get such thing just that I ran acrost it once. It would be considerabley lighter and flexable enought to mount on any surface.

if you have figerured out how to do something for your project lettme know I am really intreaged. I just got into electric and now ,dew to winter weather, Indoor flying.
