yes and no{sorry[]} it is nothing like aa. hard to control with single stick in winds. good indoors. good on calm days outside.fun.fast flyer. ive seen one fly and it requires some trimming be fore flight. so i say why not ,go for it!

I saw one at TRU an got it out of the box. It looked sweet but I DO NOT like the new style controller. I already have a fleet of 27Mhz C hogs and was wondering if you can use the Aero Ace controller with it.

Target stores has an F-16 version that looked BAD A**!!!!!

i have a friend that has it. dont buy it it is a piece of crap. its hard to fly, it says it take 2 minutes to charge, yeah right, and you cant even get it to go high enough to fly it very well.

Picked one up last weekend but haven't flown it yet.
It's heavy at 50 grams! A two minute charge gets you a 15
second burst (thinking that will get the plane up there a bit)
followed by a slow drain which I guess is when you steer
it. Ran for about 1 min 20 seconds.
I mainly bought it for the rudder actuator. After I fly it I'm
going to try a 3.5 Lippo battery in it. If I can get about 6 mins
of run time I might build up a lighter plane for it in the 25-30
gram range.
The throttle too is just an on/off switch which is hard to use.
It should be replaced with something lighter with a stick.
I'm still debating if this plane is worth such a full mod.

just about every other AirHogs plane that i've had has flown about a million times better when they've been lightened as much as possible and the brick of a battery replaced with a lipo. to take it a step further i used the BladeRunner RX and had proportional thrust differential steering and the possibility of using the 3rd channel for an elevator. the planes themselves are good enough, its the electronics and battery that make them such poor flyers. the fact that the Rush has an elevator installed already makes it a prime candidate for the BR RX. a Kokam 345mah lipo is what i used and i got loads of run time off it.

go for it Neurotex, they're not bad flyers when you take the AirHogs out of them

I think I just might.
I hooked up an EZ Chargers motor still geared with the original prop to it
and on a 3 minute charge got 2 mins of solid thrust with another minute
of a steady half power. Much lighter already and with a lipo it should easily
get 10 mins or more flight. The board is a bit heavy but with the right balsa build
up for a wing I have fewer doubts that it could work.
Figuring on a design for a light rudder set up now.

Since my AA landed into the plane grave yard I robbed the lipo
from it. After fully charging it I hooked it up to the Rush RX with
the EZ Charger motor. It screams to the point to where I thought
it would burn the motor up but it didn't get that hot.
The rudder actuator has twice the power and really holds its position.
I ran it for 4 minutes and it barely lost power.
I shut it off for fear of draining the lipo and ruining it but...
that lipo can really hold the juice!

It's now down in weight and runs to the point where it will work nicely
in a stick & tissue plane. Maybe the one the AA Rx crapped out in.

I tried this plane out last night. I thought the charger on the tx was broken until I read that you had to hold the charge button.

I used my F16 TX to charge it. I thought it flew great. It turned easily and maintained altitude.
