That is totally awesome... Are they Decals? Do they come with the SL? You need to take some more pictures...like of the elevator and linkages, motors, battery compartmant-that would be super cool

They are Home Made decals hand cut from Monocoat trim sheets. The stock Hydro comes with decals like in the pic below. I wanted a sample with the black and yellow decals, didn't get it , so I came up with my own. I think mine looks better any way

If enough get sold, there may be some independent supplier that might carry parts, like some do for the Aero Ace. Basically all they do is buy a bunch at one time, then part them out.

do the tail fins break easily?
do the tail fins break easily?
With out the Horizontal. It loses a little of its self recovery out of a dive and a small bit of lift, because then the elevator requires some up trim, but the elevator becomes much more effective since it's not deflecting its air into the upper horizontal at full deflection. So it's easier to perform loops and has more crisp sharp turns.
With the horizontal removed it also makes the vertical easier to break, though the foam does has a skin and its pretty tough. Can be easy fixed though if it does break with just some clear tape or Hot Glue.
You can always cut new ones and experiment with different shapes and sizes. Makes it handle different , sometimes better in some ways , sometimes worse.

RE: *!STORM LAUNCHER!*
Is the storm launcher fully waterproof? So if you land on it's back in the water it won't break...? And how many channels is it? And I see you need to buy the lipo battery seperate [:@].

RE: *!STORM LAUNCHER!*
indeed, one channel per motor. i was just making sure i hadnt misread something and that both motors were on one channel, and the 2nd channel was for a rudder (that didnt make sense to me).

Really becomes quit zippy with longer flight times if you do all the above, doesn't look all that great though

Its easy to modify to use your own battery , as long as it doesn't weigh much more than the stock battery ( 50 grams). Even after you modify it you can still use the stock battery.
Remove the pins inside the boat ( to the right of the pic), solder on your own battery connector. Then solder a plug on the pins that you removed and plug them back into the battery (left of pic). Then you can charge it with your own charger or the Air Hogs Charger (recommended because it's a balancing charger). Plus you can use your own battery or the stock one.
The battery is clearly marked with molded in positive and negative signs, it just doesn't show up in the pic. Should have colored them for the pic.
