Default M20 mv motors?

Does anyone know where you can get these motors from? I was guided to bsdmicro but unfortunately they are unable to get them any more. I was curious to know if anyone here has some secret stash or supplier

i havent seen the MV motors lately. what are you using them for? the LV and ULV motors are good for single cell lipos, the HV would work best for a 2 cell pack. i'll dig around some more and see if i find any of the MV type.

From the information we've been given the mv is the only one that, when geared, will give 40+ grams of thrust... in its weight range. My brother is finishing his conception of a 12" 3d indoor plane and this is the missing link. Throughout the planning we heard of these motors and the supposed performance gain over the hv motors but never looked in to where to get them. A tactical error for sure.

the N20ULV will put out 39 grams of thrust at 1.2-1.6 amps, depending on if you use a 6x3 or 6x5 prop, geared 4.2:1. here's some other info on the N20 motors: http://home.comcast.net/~gordon-johnson/n20.htm you can get the ULV motor, and the gearbox from http://bsdmicrorc.com/products.cfm?catID=10005

if you the plane can handle the extra weight of a 2 cell pack, balsa products has a ton of geared systems that are cheap and put out pleanty-o-thrust: http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id=V415757

any pics of the plane, or the equipment used? micro 3D is still one of the things that are hard to get going without shelling out the big bucks for micro brushless systems.

edit: i just noticed the thread title says M20...did you mean N20? the M20 motors put out around 28 grams of thrust on a single cell, 32 grams on 2 cell.

The information we were basing all this off of came from [link=http://www.bsdmicrorc.com/pdfs/documents/M20%20faq.pdf]Here[/link]

if that information at the end of the document is accurate it will provide enough thrust to make this 12" 3d plane feasible in concern with thrust to weight. I'll have to get some photos taken next time i swing by my brother house but the design is very similar to the flat foamy yak or 'nasty' that is floating around the web. Next time i talk with him i can post the weight as well although off the top of my head i'm thinking it's around 30 grams with all that lovely dependable plantraco gear

ah, the 40g of thrust is from a 2 cell lipo pack. since that was from bsd, you might get lucky if you shoot them an email and see if they have some of the m20mv's sitting around (i know they've usually got some stuff that they dont list on their web site). you might want to send an email to plantraco also, as i'm not sure if their equipment can handle a 2 cell lipo.
