Default RE: ParkZone Cessna 210 cutoff

I think it is the battery that is causing this Cessna to cutoff after going to full throttle. Also, the control surfaces go kinda funny when moving them. It is not inference because they have never moved when I was not touching the transmitter. I guess I will see when I get a new battery. Either way both of the cessna's I have (still have one) do not have very good range maybe 75 feet. Both have had random cutoffs even at like 30-40 feet away or even flying it 15 feet above the ground and 30 feet away. If I put my hand over the antenna I get maybe 20 feet of range. I think it would help if they made a transmitter that actually had a bigger antenna that you could pull out.

Default RE: ParkZone Cessna 210 cutoff

I got my new battery last night. The battery was not the problem but I found out what was. There was a little capacitor (that is by the antenna) I moved it and now I don't really get those full cutouts. So I went up to the ballfield and I only had about 5-6 cutouts and that was in the time I exhausted 2 battery's. So I was getting about 4-5 mins between those little 3 second cutouts. Today when I went out to fly it I had some cutouts but it seemed to better as I flew.

I did find out what was causing it to cutout completely. The little capacitor was disconnected on one side I will just have to re solder it. How long it has been disconnected? I don't know but I am sure that is what the problem was.
