Andrew is that the b-2 model? If so I had a friend with one that he couldn't get to fly well. You could consider putting a lipo in it and see how that works. You'd need to have a suitable lipo charger though.

ya-I have the b-2 version...how much would it cost to get a lipo bat and charger? Is it difficult to replace the original bat? Hmm...I've got an aero ace that's collecting dust cause it needs a new mosfet.....could I use the bat and charger from that plane?

RE: Air hogs Dominator
Most of the reviews on this plane were "heavy" & "hard to fly".
My son got the Resistor a few years back and I believe it has the same
motors & nimh battery in it.
If so the lipo from the AA should work but you may have to change the
charging end on the AA TX.
Like so much of this stuff it's trial & error. I haven't heard of anyone
putting lipos into these bigger planes probably because the TX's are so
ancient compared to what AH's has now and the planes are lumbering.
I'd try it... see what happens.

You can try the 100 mah in the ace. Changing the battery usually involves taking the plane apart and then some soldering. I have some bigger lipos. Let me know. A pic would help.

After pulling my son's Resistor out of the cob webs I almost forgot
what hogs these things truly are!
It just may need a bigger lipo. Start out with AA and then try a 200.
It may even need something bigger than that.

RE: Air hogs Dominator
hmm...I tried the lipo from the aa but it wasn't powerful enough! I could only get the motors to turn if I used a 9v battery....Any thing I can do?
Thanks!
