RE: Any micro 3d planes out there?
I was also looking for a 3-D plane in the 20 - 24" range. I scaled down my e-flight bp edge with success, but was hoping for a small built up airframe. Radical rc has a few sticks, or maybe electrifly Riot bipe? although the micro fatty sure looks neat (I am certainly not anti foam!) I have an assortment of blue arrow servos and 2 small Hacker out runners, so i'll have to do something. Just thought I'd add to the list

I am pulling 26 watts (@ just under 4 oz. auw) This is my favorite micro outrunner by far, compared to park 180, 250( and one cd rom motor that was pretty much useless). Its actually the A10-15S, rated for 2 cells @ 4 amps (6 burst) nice accessories, integrated prop saver, fiberglass X mount etc. Motor, X mount, esc combined weigh 20.4g, the battery and prop another 30.6g. I got a little to brave and the edge didn't make it, so I'm leaning towards the "Zip Stick " from radical rc. It should fit the bill

It would be a Hacker. I have mine soldered directly to a Thunder Power 6 amp esc. I've kept this motor on models under 4.5 oz with truly unlimited vertical. It would probably handle at least 6 oz for 3D, a little more for sport flying.

By the way Mr. M did you recieve your micro fatty yet? I decided against the stick (need 3D!) I just wondered what your $70 gets you was all. I'm still on the hunt, but the fatty is on the top of the list.

Well it looks like it was shipped...now the wait is on...
We just got clearance to fly in the worlds largest wooden dome! The Superior Dome folks said we could have it for 2.5 hours a month! We must all have our current AMA and club membership.....yeee haaa! This dome is awesome! I have been ther for many football games and such and just know we are going to have a blast. It is going to be on easter sunday but I am not picky.

Well it came in today. It is a nice looking kit. I got all the fuse cut out and ready to glue. The instructions could use help or a link online for better pics....but I'll deal. Wondering what is the best glue for these. The foam reminds me of and egg carton. Same stuff I think.
Pics later,

Well the fuse is glued together, firewall is in, stickers are on the fuse...waiting for miachaels to open for some UHU glue. I am impressed with it so far. I thought it would be a bit flimsy but it is solid. I am going fishing or I would go to get glue.......fish, fish, fish

A few more. I cannot believe how small these servo's are. They are super quick and seem to center great. I have not installed them yet but will very quickly.

Anyone know what might cause these servo's to chatter like crazy? They are digital 303's. And annoting as hell when trying to use them. They vibrate so bad I swear they are going to burn up. My linkages are all moving freely with no binding.
Any idea's?
