Engine problem
We have 2 aero ace jets, and one of them seems to be having a weird problem. When it's on, and no power is given on the controller, the engines kinda hum off and on, and sometimes full throttle. This is without any throttle being pressed. Is there an easy solution for this? It seems to fly fine when it's in the air, it's just when it hits the ground, the motors keep trying to spin, causing debris to get wrapped around, plus shortens battery life. Thanks.

RE: Engine problem
Could be that you have some interferace somewhere around your flying area that is emitting the Radio waves that your AA jet is recieving. I had the same problem, I had to just deal with it. Nothing I could have done to fix it.

RE: Engine problem
Are you flying the planes at the same time? the B channel TX causes C channel RX to act goofy. Just having a B tx on is all it takes. I learned this the hard way. The plane blew down later. Tim

RE: Engine problem
they are indeed B and C channel, but I can only turn that plane on and it will still do the same thing. I'm thinking either lose connection or radio interference, but it does it here, and 5 miles from here. So I dunno. I love these things though. Best fun I've had in years. I just wish they had them when I was a kid. Will make good memories for my son though. :)

RE: Engine problem
You could try switching it to an A channel and see if that helps, but it sounds like a bad processor. I'm assuming I understood you, that the planes motors kick on independant of controls, and with out the B controller being on. Your other option is potentially going to kill the plane, but it is squappity anyway. I tried this accidently, and only on the work table. When you run a solder bridge across all three channel posts, the plane becomes an A channel again. The story is this improves radio performance. Personally, I would be watching for a new jet or biplane. Ozz, I have had both and I vastly prefer the biplane, modified, but still a biplane body. Tim
