Anyone have pics of the latest version of the Neu F3A-1? The one with the longitudinal heat sink fins. I'm curious about the fan intake size/location. The original version had rather small intake openings and, if I recall, the new version of the motor has larger openings. Pics appreciated.

Is it going to have the same interface with the Contra or do you know?

I think its the same gear, they are using the same gearbox as the older style motor. It will also have the same bolt pattern.

This new motor has a larger front bearing on the rotor shaft, so the bearing bore is bigger, and we are including an adapter ring to make up this difference in the diameters when the Adapter manifold for the Contra is installed.

Also, we are including two rear support plates, one for the old Neu, and one for this new Neu.

Locally here in the Midwest Bill Ahrens and Bobby Satalino are flying the Contra with the new Neu motor, and Dave Snow is flying the Contra with the old Neu motor.
