I got a new Thunder Power 1430C charger to charge 8 cells batterries for my Wind S Pro. I am a little confused about 2X4 cells balance charging. Normally I use I-Charger 1010B and have no problems with it but the TP balance board really confused me. It has a red wire going in on the right side but the cell numbers on the balance board starts from the left side for TP batterries (but they start from left for the other adapters on the right side of the board.). I get confused even while writing [&:]
Anyway, my question is:
As you see in the photo what port (A or B) should I use for the balance adapters (1 or 2)?
I don't want to short circuit my batterries.
Thanks a lot in advance...

I believe the balance board says 4s+4s right below those two 6-pin connectors.
one on the left should say 4 - 5S.
Your balance plug 1 should plug to A, #2 plugs to B.
Thunder power blance plug is totally opposite of JST XH. Your packs have the same way Thunder Power uses. Are those Flight Power? If so, they are exactly same way as TP except it only shows 1 red wire.

I am sure I am right, but who knows.
I haven't got my 1430 yet. still using 820.
My answers are based on picture of the 1430 balcing board and 820 balancing board + the way we connect two packs on 1010C.

contact the Thunder Power if you want to make sure.

A really quick way to find out - just try charging one of the two packs. The balance tap will not recognize the pack if it's not in the right slot. Then you will know which is the NEGATIVE terminal.
Whatever battery goes into the negative power lead MUST go to the negative balance tap. The other pack follows in series.
I learned this the hard way

Wiggle out ,with the GREATEST OF CARE , the battery balancer connector from the board hundreds of times since Jan. 2011 like I have and you'll find out why.

What is wrong with balance board in 820CD?

Having the balance boards external to the charger is good. It's a sacrificial item! Looks like yours has a burnt male connector too. Once they go like this it's time for a new one.
