Not sure what you mean, but I installed my motor so that it was parallel to the nose ring on the fuse. The nose ring has the proper lateral and vertical thrust built in, so just make your motor firewall parallel to the nose ring. The best way I have found is to install the motor on the firewall, put the firewall/motor into the fuse, mount the spinner with at least 1/16th" spacer on the back of it, and then line the spinner up flush with the fuse nose ring. Tack the firewall in place and then aeropoxy it in.

I was able to weigh the parts last night and everything looked like it was within range of the other weights I have seen in this thread.
935 Fuse
77 L Elevator
80 R Elevator
380 Top Wing
390 Bottom Wing
165 Gear Wheel Pants ETC
20 Stab Tubes
All total 2102 grams,
Watching everything closely should have no problem with keeping this one under the weight limit. The biggest thing that stands out to me on the weights was the fuse, my fuse appears to be a good 2 ounces lighter than the other fuse weights posted. I weighed it a couple of times and the scales showed 935 each time so I am happy about that.
The rest of the parts should be here any day now, I am looking forward to getting started.

Officially ordered my Bi Side in my scheme this week. Looking forward to seeing BJ's outstanding work. Really starting to love the look of the plane and can't wait to get more time flying one,

Finally the shipping crate arrives my home. I am very happy with the quality of the kit.
i will post the weights soon.
my configration will be, hacer C50,esc phoenix HV, JR servos, 4 servos in the wing.
i have question regarding the stabs, with the assembly, i got like 2mm of clearence? Is this normal? Any advice? Can you showme photos of your stabs installed?

BJ has really stepped up his game with this one.....the fit and finish was a LOT better than my Nuance...and IT and Snow's Prolog was very acceptable.
You're gonna love it!
Best

Yes, the gap you have is normal. It is so the flying stab will not rub on the fuselage.

Okay,
Has anyone set this plane up with an 14 or 18 mz using 4 servos for ailerons. I am trying to figure out which wing type I need to use in order to have individual set ups on each aileron.

Easiest way is just use a two servo wing type, then go in and add two more channels, aileron and aileron two. You will have two aileron and two aileron 2. I plug both left ones in aileron and both right ones in to aileron 2. I make those the first 2 channels aileron, channel 3, throttle, and 4 and 5 aileron 2. I did that to keep the grouping. Works great on both of my other bipes. Let's me independently adjust ATV and such, but makes AFR and Dual Rate very easy as well. Haven't set up a BiSide yet, but will do it the same.

With that set up I believe you won't be able to set one wing in spoileron while the other is in flaperon.
Maybe Dave is seeking to try this for braking.
I don't use this myself (not yet anyway) but some do . eg; Juan Rombout.

Brian,
You are correct, that setup is not native to how I've done it. The 4 aileron setup will work, but I think it was more work, so I didn't use it. If Dave wants to use that, then yes, you have to use the 4 aileron wing and then play with the setup. However, after watching and flying the F3A Unlimited BiSide, I can't imaging needing to slow it down even more. The 4 aileron setup works, but I thought it was more of a headache than just doing two, but that was my personal preference. Maybe once I get my BiSide flying I'll create a second model and play with that.

The JR 93/95 doesn't have the 4 ailerons setup as you probably knows, that is the reason I have the JR12X ...but in a tread for the Sebart Miss Wind I found this method which I Didn't try and I'm pasting somebody else solution.....I didn't like that solution because in my opinion it takes way too many mixes to do something that the 12X does naturally without any mixes.....but your welcome to try it.
OK guys I can confirm that you CAN program JR 9303 with a 7 channel receiver to run 4 independent aileron servos and all necessary mixes to run the Ms Wind properly as suggested by Seba. Here is what I have done:
Ch. 1 Throttle
Ch. 2 Right Aileron
Ch. 3 Elevator
Ch. 4 Rudder
Ch. 5 Left Aileron (Listed as Gear Channel on Receiver)
Ch. 6 Right Flap (Listed as Aux 1 on Receiver)
Ch. 7 Left Flap (Listed as Aux 2 on Receiver)
Model type ACRO. In the device selection I have set flaps trim to OFF and to INH as I dont want to accidentally activate these.
Wing type is set to NORMAL, and in the dual section I have mated AILE with GEAR and FLAP with AUX2.
Prog Mix 3: AILE->FROL and under Pos0 set both values to +100%
Prog Mix 4: RTRM->FROL and under Pos0 set both values to +25%
Prog Mix 5: RUDD->AILE, Seba suggests +2% and -2% for both (http://www.sebart.it/download/manual%20DR%20%20expo.pdf)
Prog Mix 6: RUDD->FROL should be identical to previous mix
Prog Mix 1: RUDD->ELEV, Seba suggests +4% for both
Prog Mix 2: THR->ELEV, Seba suggests 2-3mm down
Optional: Prog Mix 2: RTRM->AILE and under Pos0 set both values to +25% (use this mix ONLY if you will be not using mix THRO->ELEV on idle throttle. If this mix is activated all 4 ailerons are trimmed via AUX trim switch!)
