I just picked up a SebArt Miss Wind 50E and want to know what is the best motor combination?
I like to fly a lot of both precision and 3D so it needs to be able to hover and pull out easily. I figure that if it hovers and pull out, it would be fine for the precision side.
Chief's website suggests a Hacker A50-14S or A50-16S. Will either of these motors give good pull out of a hover?
I was also thinking of a Rimfire .80 50-55-500 Outrunner Brushless or the Rimfire 1.20 50-65-450. I currently have the 80 in a nitro models 63in superchipmunk that weighs in at around 7lbs and it performs very well. It uses a small prop than the hacker but i would think it do it.
What does everyone else think?

I would recommand on the Turnigy SK3 - 5055-430kv Brushless Outrunner.
It is rated 1750 Watt. so with 6s pack and 16 X 10 or 17 X 10 prop you will have plany of power to pull unlimited verticals including torque rolls.

Hello colleagues,
I have some bad experience with one of the early produced SK3-5055-430 on my WindS 50E. Take a look on the motor’s can (left side on photo) – no enough gluing. Also different way of magnets fixing - too weak. The first motor was broken in the 20th flight turning Fiala 17x8 lightwood propeller. Bad luck or heavy load?
More than 100 flights with the second motor turning APC 16x10.

I use the same motor with an APC 17x10.
