Default Need help to setup my F3A electric power

Well guys; as title says i need some help here.
It's my first time at all on electrics but despite my lack of experience on electrics decided anyway to use it for powering my 2x2 Pattern Ship. (See the "post a picture of your pattern plane" thread; page 40).

Considering "I don't want to spend a lot, but don't want to buy rubish" I went to the web-shop where I use to buy and picked up those components (mid-priced ones; use google translate):
Motor: http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...ducts_id=87144
Speed controller: http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...ducts_id=92522
Battery/ies:http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...ducts_id=96212
Propeller: http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...ducts_id=83074

As for the charger; I've to choose one of this page:
http://shop.lindinger.at/products_fi...=products_name
...but my un-experience makes me impossible to pick the propper one!!!

Also; what else do I need to complete the whole set-up? Switches? Connectors? I'd appreciate if you can point me something from this commerce...

Yes man, I'm feeling like tarzan, Nude, hanging on a rope and yelling!!!! But the option was to power the plane with a Mintor 33... no willing at all.
Thanks on advance for your time and help on this!!!!!!!!

Hello Guille,

The motor you chose is very heavy by today's standards, i think this one is more appropriate and was successfully used in F3A:

If weight is not a problem, you can use a 20x13 or 21x14 APC prop. A wattmeter would also be a good investment to make sure you don't overload your motor.

I've been using a less powerful (600W) version of this charger for the last 3 years, charging 2x 5S Lipos at the same time, one on each channel: http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...ducts_id=90121
It measures the internal resistance of the whole pack, but not for each cell.

For the battery, i would stay away from the LONG 10s packs, because the battery tray on most planes is not that long and it would be hard to make CG adjustments with such a long battery.

I use 2x5S Rhino 4900 mAh 20C from Hobbyking and also Hacker Eco 4900 mAh 20C packs. From the 11 Rhino batteries i purchased initially, 3 of them failed over the last 3 years. The others are still pretty good after hundreds of flights, so i would say they were a good investment. Other pilots may also give you good suggestions.

Hi Alex!! nice to see you again on the Forum!!!!
Thanks for your advices; I've already changed the motor and keep the propeller too. Do you think the Speed variator is OK? Might get the battery charger too at Lindinger.
Regarding to the batts; I've just red that lindinger doesn't send batteries >1000mA due to some law in Austria. With so, I'll get "some good quality" 10s 5000mA (or 2x 5s 5000mA) here in Italy or maybe in Hobby King. The hacker ones seems to be the option to go...
What else do I need to complete the plane? Switches? Conectors?
Thanks!!!!

I didn't use Dualsky ESC's but from what i heard they make quality products.

The Castle Creation Phoenix Edge 80HV is a new product, but the older ICE 80HV was used in F3A by many pilots. Here's the link: http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...cts_id=9705933

I use CT4 bullet connectors on the batteries, ESC and motor. An anti-spark connector would also be useful, i had some problems with the spark causing carbon deposits on the connectors and limiting my motor power.

For powering the receiver you can use a 2S Lipo and this switch: http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...ducts_id=60464
