Default Any data on PT model or Mejlik 20X13 three bladed props?

I was wondering if anyone has tried these props, what were amps, watts and motor, what prop did you run before and the difference in watts, amps etc.

Did it give you more downline braking, how was vertical etc.....

Thanks in advance.

Chuck Hochhalter

I am running Pletty advance.

I have used both and also the Ulsamer 20x13 3B with the Pletty Advance.

My favorite is the one from PT. It consumes far less mAh per flight when I fly P13/P15. The PT has the highest static amp draw (106 A!) but is the most effective in the air. I adjust the ATV to reduce the max amp draw.

I fly with telemetry sensor and have normally the highest Amp reading at 75 A in the air. That is for all three. A normal flight for me with the PT is 3000 mAh for P15. I can do the same with the Ulasmer but only in calm condition. The Ulsamer and the Mejzlic works if you have a really slow flying style. All three works really well and have excellent breaking and makes it easier to fly constant speed. With the PT you will get a faster flight speed with the same mAh consumption.
We all have different preferences when it comes to propeller. You need to try for yourself.

Regards,
Henning

I'm running the Advance with the Mejzlik 20x13 EL 3 blade on the Bi Side. I really like the performance. It has nice downline braking and good consistent speed. I've seen the PT 3 blade fly and it doesn't seem to have the same benefits as the Mejzlik.

I was running the Falcon 20.5x13 two blade prior.

I see about 100-200mah per flight increase with the 3 blade. I used to run the 4500mah packs but I use the 5000's now for more headroom. I can fit it P15 with the 4500's but it is too close on F15 with the smaller packs.

Steve,

Are those 35C/ 4500 or 25C you were running?

Funny, 4 years ago I proposed the idea to a well know electric FAI guru and was scaulded for even thinking the idea, lol.

(Using a three blade that is)
