Anyone know if someone is going to be taking over the Hacker line in the US?

Last I heard from a usually reliable source, is that there is already a new USA importer/distributor who would be announced after the first of the year when Aero Model is officially closed.

I found a thread where Esprit made a post looking like they're it. Not sure how I feel about that.

Mike can also confirm, but it's not F3A Unlimited nor SebArt RC USA. And it's actually a newer business run by someone with many years experience working in the industry for another popular brushless power system related brand.

The new distributor is Hacker Motors USA, Inc (which will be located in Kansas and more details will be available in the coming weeks).

But no worries...we didn't have any Wind S Pros to give away since those were discontinued in 2013 and replaced by the Mytho S Pro (which we just sold out of due to our big holiday sale).

And for anyone that might be interested, we do have plenty of A30, A50 and some A60 motors in stock (all the models that are recommended for SebArt models) while the distributor transition is in progress (since the new distributor won't have stock until late this month/next month).

Castle Creations looks to be the new Hacker parent company. Considering that they couldn't get their Edge ESC to work correctly with the 28 pole Hacker motors this could be interesting.

Castle Creations did not buy Hacker GMBH in Germany so they are not the parent company. And there has been no change in the ownership of Hacker...the only change is the distributor in North America. That new distibutor is Hacker Motors USA, Inc. which is not owned by or affiliated with Castle Creations in any way. That said at least one staff member at Hacker Motors USA was a former employee of Castle Creations, but that has no bearing on the ownership or distribution of Hacker worldwide or in North America.

Wrong wording on my part. I meant the new distributor not parent company.

Does anyone know if the new Hacker USA Distributor has set up shop, and if they have a web page yet?
