For future reference, there's a pretty thorough build blog Jason put together over at Precision Aero that I haven't come across in this thread and it is definitely worth reading over. He built two, one with a Contra Drive and one with a Pletty. He also put together an under carriage strengthening kit for this kit you can buy or just copy yourself with all the details he gave (works for some other BJ kits as well).

Just finished a build. I think I got the last one from F3A U. Good pointers in this idle thread. My setup:
- Himax front mount
- replaced the landing gear with carbons
- bigger wheels and pants for grass - 2.36" wheels
- F3A tail wheel replaced
- doublers and glass on gear mounts
- 3 blade falcon and spinner
- mini MKS69 on elevators
- standard on rudder - in tail, wings
- heavy duty canopy latch at rear with magnet assists in the front - rear of canopy opened up
- zero on the tail - +.7 wings, +.5 Tcan
- very slight + on the motor incidence
- very light battery and radio trays - full of holes
- CG just aft of rear wing tube but forward of the wing bolts
- oversized air exits on bottom of fuse in 2 places
- Spektrum guidance
Waiting for the weather to break - <90 - then I will give it a go.
