Default Simple to use 2s Rx pack discharger

If anyone is looking for a small lightweight easy to use inexpensive discharger for their 2s Rx LiPo I would recommend this

G-Force G2SD Storage Discharger - Hobby Square

It does make it very easy to store your Rx (or backup) pack after a day at the field.
Just plug into your balance connector and that's it.
Discharges safely at 1A and stops at 3.85V/cell, no buttons or settings.

(For my 5s/10s flight packs, I've had very good luck with my pair of iSDT FD-100 dischargers)

ISDT FD-100 80W Discharger - ProgressiveRC

It is a discharger for storing Lipo Batteries.

If you store the Li-ion Battery at full charge or close to full charge, the battery may swell or deteriorate the function, and the functionally degraded Lipo Battery may cause not only no power but also an accident there is. Therefore, it has to be discharged to the storage voltage with a charger etc. with a discharging function etc, but it takes time and troublesome setting of charging / discharging device etc. It is troublesome.

Lipa saver is a one that discharges 1 to 4 cell LiPo battery packs close to full charge and full charge to the optimum voltage for storage of 3.85 V in each cell, and its usage is very easy.
Just connecting the liposaver to the balance connector on the lipo battery ensures that the cell with a voltage higher than 3.85 V is discharged to 3.85. If it is discharged to 3.85 V, the LED lamp will go out and it will be ready for safe storage.

※ handling and use guidelines are here. Please see from

Major Standards
Corresponding Lipo: 1 to 4 Cell
Dimension: 53 24 3 mm
Weight: 5 g
Discharge Current: 80 mA 4
Discharge Stop Voltage: 3.85 V 0.05 V in Each Cell
