Default New BJCraft plane? Nuance G2?

This also just showed up on the hobbynet website
It is Nuance G2. Looks like a pretty large rudder, no canalyzer.

248,000 yen ... $2200 USD ... 1900 euro

BJCRAFT made Nuance G 2 fuselage Composite paint + main tail balsa film tension finished machine.
Nuance which was popular in 70 class was G2 and it improved greatly.

Why would one pick this over the Etude and is there a contra drive version in the works? That's what the market is missing. A composite fuse, sub $2K, non T-Can contra drive setup that is lightweight and competitive.

I can't really speak for BJ as it relates to a Contra drive option. Currently, its supplied with a mono prop setup with a conventional horizontal stab with dual elevators.

The Etude is of the original design where the Nuance G2 is more closely related to the Invitation & Element: taller fusealage, larger stabs.
The Etude & Nuance look similar but if look closely you can see the Etude lacks the height of the G2.

I believe Mike Mueller at F3A Unlimited does have a few of the G2's on order but I simply do know about the Etude.
