Default Neu F3A motor

I just received delivery of a new motor for F3A from Neu motors. The finish quality on this motor is excellent! Looks to be a great choice for guys not wanting to break the bank, this motor sells for under $300. This one will get installed in the monoplane version of my Divergent design.

Is there a way to add back support to this motor?

Is this on sale yet or a prototype? Can’t seem to find it on website.
Any specs on # of poles, dimensions, etc?

They are available now, Steve is working on a shaft that will have a 8mm stub on the back for rear support. Please drop him an email if you are interested in that option. I will be getting the retrofit shaft as soon as it is available.

Thank you. I didn't think of searching RCG, I just went to his website.
$259 seems too good to be true for an F3A motor ... almost a no brainer.
I wonder if you could adapt a Q80 rear mount to fit his motor once he adds the stub on the back.
Thanks for posting this.

Not sure if the Q80 mount would adapt as I have never taken a good look at one. My plan is to attach a 8x18mm bearing to the rear and then do the same setup that is currently used on my Divergent/Dualsky install.

Do you soft mount the rear cross support with that setup?

I don't however there is enough flex in the fuselage where the cross brace attaches so that it is not 100% rigid.

Guys I've entered into an agreement with Mr. Steve Neu to market this new motor.
His original introductory pricing has now gone away so he can allow more outlets.
The price is now $299.99 and includes free shipping domestically. Even at $299.99, it represents the best bang for the buck on the market today.
They are in stock now.
We are very excited and proud to have this offering available to our customers.
The listing was just created if you see any misprints please let me know.
Also, I stole a couple of photos of the mounting so thanks!!!

I received my motor, and then checked the weight. Mine is at 628 grams. I was hoping it would have been as advertised: 580 grams. How does everyone's weight measure?
