Default New AstroFlight Direct Drive In-runner

Have you guys seen the new offering from AstroFlight? It looks like it might make a very good domestic made pattern motor. It would be kind of nice to run some American made hardware for a change. I think I may have to give one a try.

Here's a link in case you're interested.

Funny they don't mention a weight. Almost like they are hiding it.

I'm betting the first F3A e-motor made in USA will be from CustomCDR.

I think you might be right about the weight. I ought to E-mail AF and ask the question.

I also think Steve Neu is more likely to get his motors in an F3A ship than Custom CDR.

You could be right, Wiz. Either company would put out a world-class product.

Steve Neu already makes a world class product. http://www.neumotors.com/neuproducts.html

I owned one of the first Custom CDR motors offered on RG Groups and it was something much less than world class. That said, I'm sure their line has improved quite a lot. since then.
