Oxai Beryll Instruction Manual.
Can anyone tell me where I can download an instruction manual for the Beryll? I have looked arround the Oxai web site but can not find one to download.
I recently purchased a used Beryll EP and there was no instruction manual included. The main information that I require is where to mount the control horns. I dont want to drill in the wrong place and find that the mounting blocks are not there. Also what horns are recomended?
Regards
Arthur

RE: Oxai Beryll Instruction Manual.
Hi
As RTF's they do not have instruction manuals. Have a look at the Beryll thread on this site. I posted photos when I did mine and should help you with the location. As to the control horns if you did not purchase with kit, ZN Line has the right control horns. The Hyde control horns if you can still get also work fine. If you look at the ailerons, elevators and rudder you will clearly see the hardwood inserts where the control horns go. You merely screw the horns to these and believe me they will not come loose.

Burt

As Burt said just put the surfaces up to some light and look in the area where the hardpoints are and you'll be able to see them. Once I figure out where the hardpoint is I usually use some blue tape or something to mark where it is, because you'll lose it as soon as you take the light off of it.

RE: Oxai Beryll Instruction Manual.
Thanks Guys
I have them marked now I was thinking that there may be a drawing with the measurements as I had for my Oxalys.
As this is an early Beryll, I am making a foam crutch to stiffen the fuselage as in the newer version.
I would be gratefull for any other advice for this model.

RE: Oxai Beryll Instruction Manual.
It is the type without a crutch, I don't see the need for one. Jon did install a former in the tail though, and also the carbon crutch as you can see at the rear of the canopy in 1 of the pics. That cured the flex. As for a twist, I don't notice one. Doesn't mean it's not there, I just don't notice it. I can do more detailed pics later if you need, just in a hurry as I'm off to work.

More pics. Jon also bought the anhedral stabs for this one to update it. He told me to go ahead and put the old stabs back on if I wanted more mix. lol.

RE: Oxai Beryll Instruction Manual.
Thanks these have helped greatly.
It exactly the same aircraft, the former at the tail is also fitted in this one. I will also fit the carbon tubes at the rear of the canopy.
We are looking forward to getting this one in the air next week.
I will let you know how it goes.
