You better go for YGE 80 HV which have some of the best features in this class.

Most important thing is the better "mileage" on this controller, second is the low weight which is very low for an 80A controller, third it is a EU product
. I like the benefit of the free wheel feature which I haven't seen on other controllers, great throttle curve! which is giving You excellent control of the power. Beside this Heino is giving You exellent service, fast answer if any and that is also something You will like.

With "milage" you mean that it uses less amps then the spin for the same amount of rpm with the same prop and motor?
How does that work, hase it some kind of curved form instead of a block or something (just guessing) and then the motor losses are less (cooler motor)?

Yes it uses less amps for the same rpm with the same prop and motor, but how it does it I don't know, I am just a mechanical engineer constructing oil recovery equipment
. I have noticed it by comparing my Jeti on my AXI 5330/FAI turning AXI 20x13, I used about 5-7% less mAh, compaired over several flights in differnt wind conditions going from 1 m/s up to 10 m/s.
Must say I'm very pleased over the performance of this controller. But off course it is up to people themselfes to decide which controller to use, just telling what I feel is the "best buy" at this moment.

This was a bench test I ran this year:
YGE vs. Castle.
The YGE was set at 24 degrees and the Castle was bumped to "medium" to make the settings closer than the "low" setting I normally use. battery was fresh charge True RC 20C pack and APC 21-14 - Plettenberg 30-10 EVO motor. The test was to see how many amps were necessary to produce a given rpm figure.
RPM YGE (amps) Castle (amps)
2000 3.7 3.6
4000 22.1 23.7
5000 43.5 48.3
6000 85.9 89.7 ** max rpm only reached 5730
The YGE has power consumption numbers anywhere from similar to the Castle's to 10% less for a given rpm. Also, the full throttle rpm number was 270 rpms more with the YGE while using 3.8 fewer amps.

The YGE is definitely more expensive than the Castle. It's benefits are 1/2 the weight and higher efficiency and more power than the Castle. To some it is worth the difference in price. Especially if you are close to or over 5kg. There are several YGE controllers being flown at the WC right now (not US team).
