I just received a set of GraphTech's new F3A Pattern Long(slim) landing gear.
The weight is 132gm, has a 9 inch rise from axle to fuse, spread is 19in. Dimensions are 1-1/4 inch wide at fuse tapering to 1 inch wide at wheel. Sweep is 1-1/2 inch.
Beautiful with full carbon cloth wrap and clear coated, not just made of carbon tow like the ES gear. Price was $69.95
I asked about a set not so wide at the base , thus the (Slim).
Mike also told me
“I have some other pattern stuff coming as well. Look for Aluminum Coated Graphite axle sets that are half the weigh of Titanium. And I am also working on Matching Carbon Wheel Pants for the #270. Trying to work off all the weight in the landing gear area!
Thanks,
Mike

I received my Graph Tech F3A gear and pants yesterday. It took about 1 1/2 weeks from order to my door step. The look great! The gear certainly have the height I need. I will weight them this evening and report back.

Just received the latest gear from Graph Tech. Base is 1-1/2 in wide, otherwise same dimensions as before BUT with lighter carbon thus a uncut and undrilled weight of 132gm
looks very nice. Still 9 inches rise.
