I asked Mark to round off the original Insight and he did, he also changed a few other things he thought of and renamed it a Hindsight, I am now building the prototype and I'm really looking forward to it, here is the CAD view

it's 78 long and 74 span with 890 sq inches, the plan is going with a Dualsky 6360-12 with a 10s batteries, I'm going to try to glass and paint the fuse and cover the wings, using Graftech tube and landing gear, I hope to get it around 10lbs
I haven't built an all balsa plane in 5+ yrs so we'll see how much I remember about keeping it light

I refer you to my old build threads, i was the kind of mess ups and for some reason there wasa a heineken bottle somewhere in the pics.
Heck, it looked straight to me.
hahaha....
Don't worry about weighing your glue if you use gorilla glue, put it on, scrap as much as you can off with a plastic scraper. you will make it just fine.

that's exactly what I just did on the hor. stab halves, I used them for trial pieces, I figured if I messed them up I would re do them and not use so much of this light wood, but I think it is good

I know this is an old thread, but I am curious if you got the Hindsight built. I am thinking of building this and I am curious as to how it flies.
Thanks

Dave,
I don't think you'd be disappointed. I've yet to see a Mark Hunt design that didn't fly very well. Just put good equipment in it and it will take very good care of you,
