RE: Pletty Evo 30-10 controller
Don't think it matters. CC's rating are conservative. Then again I fly the 30-10 on a RASA 20.5X14 CF prop using a YGE 80HV. 300 flights and counting on one and 140 flights and counting on another plane. Answer: Use the lightest one.;)

I have the ICE HV80. I have no experience with anything else, but like the data logging. If you already have a data logging system, then I'd go with the lighter or cheaper option depending on the project. They both work.
In agreement with Joe L, I talked to Castle when setting up my system, and was told for our style of flying to turn off the current limiting features. It is rated for 80A continuous, but when you go through the settings you'll see that the firmware is set to handle peaks of 100-120A, and then you can disregard even those limits. |
RE: Pletty Evo 30-10 controller
Either would be just fine. Pletty won't even come close to *****g out the peak amp load.

Thanks for the input. I was concerned about amps as I know it makes a ton of power.

Chuck, I run my Pletty with a YGE 80 and the amp draw is only 63 at full throttle. Prop is a Rasa folding 21x15. Completely AWESOME!!!!!!!!
