Trying to learn about electrics. Would like to know the diferences between these two ESC's. Apparently the same specifications, but a difference in price. The first one $ 275.00 (Jeti) , the second one $ 345.00 (Hacker Jeti)

Thanks in advance for any input on this topic

Regards

The price difference is in the label. The Hacker label costs an extra $70.00.

You could save even more here: http://www.electricwingman.com/jeti/spin-99-opto.aspx

The datasheets I have seen show the Spin 99 as 110gms and the Master Spin as 100gms.

Could be the wire length they used when weighing it. Some manufactures/vendors list weight without wires, some with at various lengths. Too bad there isn't a disclaimer that lists the wire length they used when weighing the ESC.

It looks like Jeti is releasing some new controllers next year. The Spin Pro series. Not sure what the difference is.

Ok, roughly translated by Google the differences are:

New controllers SPIN PRO developed to target the successor to the popular controller for engine management støÃ*davých series SPIN. Øada with pøÃ*vlastkem PRO offers in comparison with the older pøÃ*buzným rozÅ¡Ã*øené options in settings such as for example automatic pøedstih engine directly set the trip voltage in volts, start tuning for different types of engines and Maybe the possibility to activate the setting mode autorotation in helicopters. Another improvement is the shift of the maximum limit otáèek to 250,000 rev / min (pøepoèet for 2-pole motors). The spectrum regulator Spin PRO is offered in the same Å¡Ã*øi as pøedcházejÃ*cÃ* models ranging from 11A to 220A. For Èeský market is ready variant settings in èeské versions.

Cheers,
Jason.
