using old lipo

Are there any safety considerations in using 2-3 year old 5s lipos (Zippy or alike) that were not in use?
They are all 20-30 cycles , some were stored fully charged and others approx. half. No special storage conditions (in house)
Is there any test criteria that I can use for screening the bad from the good?

Would appreciate any tip

Internal resistance appears to be a good measure.

If your charger can determine IR, see what the cells are like, anything about 4-5 ยต ohms is not going to give as much punch as new pack.

It does not hurt to give it a charge and see if all cells can take the charge. If one cell is slow to take the charge, the pack may be near its life cycle.

I had a brand new 5000 mah Turnigy 20C that was in storage condition (at 50% full) for over 6 months. When I paired it with another pack, it is as good as new.
