Don't know whether it's for glow or not, but it's definitely stealthy ... :p

What he said. Glow capable as well as E. It's in developmental stage. My guess is it will be ready for the Spring on 2015.

Bill that's by design. It's top secret. Actually BJ would like to keep it a bit on the downlow.
All I can assure you is it won't be long. Is another significant step in the evolution of design. We have a lot riding on this and we know what is coming in the spring. Until it's ready to announce we all have to wait. Mike |
Mike,
That's totally kool and I completely understand (lack of copy cat laws oversea's). I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only person that couldn't see the pic. BTW: Sending you a Pm on a different B.J Aircraft for availability.

Hi Mike
These day, I frequently talk with BJ Park how to make my Nuance, whenever on the phone, he talks a lot about his G2. He would joke that G2 is the second generation short for. and not the second generation of BJ's planes but the second generation of whole world as the standard pattern plane. (believe it or not:rolleyes:) anyway, he will soon announce that his G2 main concept at his web. and few more different G2 versions will be launched soon. I'm also look forward to seeing the plane soon. Sungho |
Can be disclosed a first secret. Is the new model a biplane or a monoplane?
|
Monoplane's. We are going to be displaying them at the Toledoshow in April. I'm just as anxious to see it as anyone else. I've seen the pictures of the prototypes and they are really cool. I just can't share yet. Sorry, Mike
|
I glanced it slightly. The G2 has the mono plane with canalizer. and the most impressed one is... it has the most largest side area which I never ever seen before.
I also look forward it. Sungho |
;)
The Suspense is killing me...... post a b@%^Y photo someone........ |
Hi,
Check the Inspire thread - Page 1 Brian |
Nice Volume (it's Big), Hope BJ uses the new wing design and not the DTFS wing. I saw that last week, didn't want to speculate.
Nice catch! Bill

Gday Brian,
It looks very big but I hope BJ comes up with a better colour scheme. regards Mavros |
Does this mean I have to have an "accident" with my Nuance so I have a good reason to replace it?
|
Accidents can happen.
Another reason is you want one. Mike |
There are the first pictures of the new G2 on the webside of BJCraft:
http://rcone.kr/board/index.html?id=bjair1&no=138 The fuselage seems to be giant. Gerhard |
Appears to offer 2 different wings and 2 different stabs?
Yes, that is a very large fuselage! |
Yes, I looks, that there will be 2 versions:
G2 Invitation: EP / Engine (both possible) Common shape main wing Common shape 2 servo stab G2 Essence: EP DTFS main wing all flying tail |
The common shape stab is also a flying stab.....no elevators so it needs only one servo.
Some comments from here..... I would rather not have a removable engine cover on the E-version. I cant imagine anyone these days using a glow engine on this airplane...especially built this lightly. In my opinion.....I understand why the canopy is so much smaller in length but the real problem for me is the distance of the nose from the spinner ring to the leading edge of the canopy. This would probably be okay if everyone put the battery as far back as the pictures show.....but I don't know anyone that has the c/g that far back. That setup went out many years ago.....thankfully. Apparently the leading edge of the battery is over the landing gear in the pictures. With the battery tray in a more conventional position more or less in front of the gear.....there is not much or any room to get 2 hands in the nose to plug in the battery. Otherwise.....I like the airplane....a lot! Especially the fuselage mounted canalizer I also like the strake down the bottom of the fuselage.....it adds strength against a cave in as well as adding side area. I prefer the double taper conventional wing and flying stab too. |

Hello
Some pics seen of "Talking F3A Australia" facebook http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2071161http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2071162 |
I like that color scheme...
|
I agree, great color scheme. Hope that is one that Mike has coming in.
|
Holy cow, it is big. It is scaled nicely, I had no idea it was that big until I saw the pics with the hand.
