Cygnus is a new pattern designed by Pascal Nowik. Cygnus is based on Arixtra.
This plane RTF should be produced by well known manufacturer Extreme Flight.
Price should be about 1000 E.

Wonder if this is the plane that is eventually replacing the Vanquish? Love the look! This would be on my "buy" list if it gets released.

Unfortunately 1000 E is approximately $1100 US. There are composite planes out there that are at this price (Caelus is actually less). Why would I want to buy an all wood plane for this price? The Vanquish is less that $700 and flys great. One of the reasons that makes it so attractive.

unfortunaltely does we have in Europa not this comfortable prizes than in US ;)
Official price of the Vanquish in US (Extreme Flight): 849,- $
Offiicial price of Vanquish in Germany (Hacker): 939,- €

You get the Vanquish in Europa at a low price of about 800,- € but I think You also get the Vanquish in US much more cheaper then 849,- $

Also all European prices, by law, have to include VAT (Sales Tax) which runs at 20% for most countries (19% & 21% for a couple of countries).

If price is 1000 E in Europe, price in US will be close price of Vanquish.
All wood plane is as good as composite as demonstrated by many Japanese planes.
For example Super stage is all wood and all covered plastic film.
I looked for plane 2x2 about 1000 $ normal price with no discount , I found Caelus. Are there others at this price ?

If the price is near the price of the Vanquish then it will be a good deal and I may buy one.

What is the latest on this plane? I contacted EF about a month ago and ask about anything new coming out in the 2m size and they said not at this time. I have a Himax 6330-210 looking for a home.
