Brake settings for Contra
 

I tried using the brake on my Mezon ESC driving a Neu/Contra this week and didn't like the noise. Probably too much braking. Just wondering what settings might work best? Anyone happy with that combination?

Hey Jim,

You generally don't want to run much more than about 25% to 30% ESC braking with a Contra Drive. This will give you excellent downline speed control, and the motor/prop noise should be very acceptable.

You can run more than 55% braking without stopping the props, but the noise starts to become objectionable with higher braking power.
