I don't see anything wrong with it, seems like it would do the job. Soot filter seems kinda gimmicky to me but it may make a difference. The biggest thing is that the box didn't show any outward signs of being hot enough to do damage. It may be wise to put each lipo in one of the mini storage bags inside that box that way if you lose a batt it doesn't take the others with it, or at least has less of a chance of doing so.
