I have the 70 and 110 Fantasista, as well as the Passion Biplane ... I guess I just like Akiba's planes.
I may try to get the v2 110 with the stepped leading edge main wing and put the 110 belt drive for it (if I can get one out of Japan ... The 70 belt drive took a while)

The new Fantasista SP has the stepped leading edges on both the wing and stab like the Fantasista Evo, but the SP has a new curved leading edge and wing tip, unlike the previous Fantasistas.

I have the 70 and I really like it...

Type 50 (who manufactures them) won't ship outside of Japan for whatever reason
If you can't get it from HobbyNet, then try Morris Hobbies in Japan (I think they ship outside of Japan)
FWIW, mine came with a Scorpion motor which is a Japan only
the other motor is a Plettenberg

I bought the belt drive simply because it was different, and I like to look at things and how they are designed and built. In the YouTube videos of the Fantasista 70 with belt drive, it sounds a bit different.
A 17x10 or 17x12 prop is a good starting point.

Looks like glow powered. Terrific....Also interesting are the flaps. Love that.

Stab design is rather strange. The chord increase towards the tip adds nothing aerodynamically. Just looks different. If they made the wing that way, it would cause significant performance deterioration in certain key maneuvers. I guess it has not flown yet. Once they fly it, they'll know

Akiba has put stepped (or dog tooth or canine tooth or saw tooth) leading edges on the Fantasista 70, 110 v2 and the Fantasista Evo, all which have been built and flown.

There is also the ST (Saw Tooth) version of the Citrin which has the stepped leading edges. I believe Wolfgang Matt designed and flew the Citrin and Citrin ST.

i think you are just like me! One question though, are you on 5s or 6s and do you find the belt drive system more efficient and uses less Mah?

I just received an Akiba designed BJCraft Passion biplane with an OS F3A belt drive ... I tried unsuccessfully to get an Akiba designed belt drive out of Japan
Maybe the next plane ...

This is the prettiest Fantasista I've seen so far, nice change on the wings, stab , canalizer.

Was that a pletty contra drive with a 3 blade prop on the back and a two blade on the front all with small fins on the tips?

If I can find the Plettenberg Contra, I'll buy it
I've purchased from F3ALorenz before and they were very nice to deal with
