Sebart Prometheus 50E

Have any of you guys seen / acquired / flown the new Sebart Prometheus 50E biplane? Looks just like a scaled down version of the 2M version. Designed for 6S powertrain, same motor recommended as per the Miss Wind 50. If it flies as good or better it will be a fine flyer.

Here is a shot of the model 61 inch span selling for around £380 in the Uk before tax probably around $500 US?

Well, finding it hard to believe that no one seems to be interested in a new Sebart biplane that looks terrific for $500.

The site rcgroups has been under discussion since 2017. Although i must admit, i do not like the resulting take-off weight of 4200gr., with a super appearance.

Hi, thought everyone out there was dead! Sounds heavy at 4.2 kilos, that's not far away from a full size 2 metre model.

Sasha doctor 04-21-2020 01:16 AM

I'm certainly not an aeronautical engineer, but i think this weight is due to the design of the model

On the Sebart website the ready to fly weigh is shown as 3.700 kilos, that is 8.3 pounds, still quite heavy for a 6S setup. About the same weight as the Wind 110

Dear John agnew, once again, this weight was indicated on rcgroups, how it will turn out for You, for example, i did not know.
